4 "IF ANY" statements Paul makes in verse 1

If any encouragement from being united with Christ
If any comfort from his love
If any common sharing in the Spirit
If an tenderness and compassion

These "ifs" really translate better to "since"

Since you have experienced
- encouragement
- love
- comfort
- tenderness
- compassion

THEN...be like minded, one in spirit...BE UNITED.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
